So another great episode of Succession. As always it has moments that make me uncomfortable. Succession isn’t afraid to explore a range of emotions, sometimes it’s raw and painful, sometimes it just hits a sensitivity like cold drink on the exposed nerve of a tooth.

The episode is named for a wry one liner from Willa. Connor outlines their upcoming trip which names some purplish electoral battlegrounds and Willa adds oh so dryly “the honeymoon states.”
Poor Carrie, (hope I spell this right) Logan’s mistress, isn’t allowed to make the rounds because Marcia is back, declaring boldly and baldly lying that Logan would call her nightly, even though she admits their relationship was ‘complicated.’ Complicated is a thing you say about the girl you dated for a year but broke up 3 times in that period, or complicated is when you’re dating two girls who happen to be roommates at the same time. When a rich guy has a Mistress and you’ve been out ‘shopping’ in Europe for the last few months, the word for that is ‘replaced.’
