My Lamia

White Queen an AI image by Doug X

I wrote some lyrics for a new fantasy themed song. This one about a Lamia. Now I will try to get AI to create some music and vocals and I’ll post the link to the song in the comments.

(Verse 1)
I thought I was well traveled
seen my share of ports
had the sleeve of care unraveled
by women of every sort

(Verse 2)
I sailed for several years
got wrecked on Calypso’s isle
and when I heard the Sirens
I swam the extra mile

(Verse 3)
Then I met the Lamia
smoky eyes, sly smile aimed at me
I almost didn’t notice
the scales where legs should be

(Chorus)
She doesn’t have legs
they don’t go on for miles
and her fangs
show when she smiles
but her eyes, like iridescent pearls
she’s my lamia, she made me hers

(Verse 4)
Her hair is raven dark
or maybe red I get confused
but when she wraps me in her coils
I know just what to do

(Chorus)
She doesn’t have legs
they don’t go on for miles
and her fangs
show when she smiles
but her eyes, like iridescent pearls
she’s my lamia, she made me hers

(Verse 5)
I remember being stubborn
once I got a thought stuck in my head
but now the lamia just wraps me up
and tells me what to think instead
