Like they say about Georgia, it's not a deeply Red state, it's a deeply voter suppressed state. Same with Texas. It's not for nothing that they closed all the polling places except 1 per county. And why should Democratic policy be based upon what's popular in Red states, states that are most likely, by definition, to be voting Republican in the general election.
