I recognize the dangers of another constitutional convention. I also don't believe that we can only change a 250 year old document in the way the writers of the document said it can be changed. Our government is as old fashioned as a musket and (as a Supreme Court justice once said) the constitution is not a suicide pact. Imagine if someone said 'we have to follow the king's laws because it was written down on a document 500 years ago and we can only change from monarchy to democracy on a leap year that coincides with a solar eclipse...

We are in danger of (or already have become) an oligarchy and we will not survive the dangers of Climate Change without making our government better.
