What has gone before
Once upon a time there was a paleontologist named Magnus who loved a woman and this woman loved dinosaurs. Her name was Amy and they were happy together. Then one night the paleontologist got drunk one and cheated on her with her sister. In a heroic effort to win her back created a device that could cross the barriers between quantum universes so he could take her to see dinosaurs. They did and had many adventures and acquired a pet Ankylosaurus. They also eventually traveled to a dimension filled with dark elves who worshipped mad elder gods and were so feared by all other races they were sequestered by powerful magics and unable to escape their own dimension by mystical means. To save his own life and those of his friends Magnus agreed to help them escape as long as they did nothing to harm the Earth. A Dark Elf priestess came back to Earth with them. Amy, Magnus and their former coworker Helen were trying to teach her how to adapt to life on Earth as she attempted to find the artifacts that anchored the spell that bound her people. She came to like life on Earth and decided not to free her people to ravage the rest of the quantum universes but still sought the artifacts to increase her personal power because despite being…
