I have recently been creating AI art. Since AI is going to take all our jobs and make our art irrelevant might as well have some fun with it, I say.
Many of the sites cost money but Nightcafe only requires social capital. You earn credits to make images by making images every day, voting in contests, liking other creator’s works etc.
The site has contests every day with suggested categories. One of the recent contests was for famous artists doing everyday jobs. I don’t really know many famous artists but I had an idea for Salvador Dali working as a fry cook while clocks in the background melted. Unfortunately the AI left out the background part and I didn’t have the knowhow or follow through to try and remedy that.
I even tried a foray into self portraitry. I thought about my essential qualities and asked the AI gods to render a picture of a man with a shaved head, sleeveless shirt, strong shoulders and arms, highly intelligent and arrogant ;). And what I received were these
